To seek approval for a national cycle network link along Madeira Drive, providing a low traffic accessible east/west cycle route and completing the national cycle route (NCN2) in the area.

Consultation process

Formal consultation has taken place with around 2,200 leaflets/questionnaires circulated to local residents and businesses.  A public exhibition was held between the 8-10th January 2009; with leaflets/questionnaires issued to ward councillors, cycle forum members, emergency services and relevant internal council officers.
