CIVITAS Road Safety Project
The report seeks approval:
To build the detailed designs at the identified sites.
To withdraw the proposal for the loading bay positioned the
north-east side of Franklin Road from the traffic order.
This is in response to concerns raised in an objection received,
through the TRO public consultation process.

Wider public consultation will be carried out
through the Traffic Regulation Order
process, reference CIV/RS/Lewes Road. (As the proposals are
relatively minor, wider consultation is not
considered necessary).
Internal consultation has been carried out with the Cabinet Member
for Environment and relevant internal Council departments.
