Residential parking tarmac verge

We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove Council to Tarmac the grass verges along Birchgrove Crescent to provide parking for residents. Parking along Birchgrove Crescent has become increasingly difficult. Residents are having trouble finding parking spaces on the road and often resort to parking on the grass verges. These are now becoming in extremely poor condition and serve no purpose. We as residents propose removing the grass verges and tarmac them to provide much needed space.

Since yellow lines have been put down the flats - fat residents are having to park on the road birchgrove crescent which is leaving everyone on the street struggling for parking.
Coldean lane is an example of utilising the space positively providing parking for their residents.
The grass verges are poorly maintained as is.
We residents NEED parking.
