No to LED lights in Conservation Areas

We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove Council to prevent the rollout of LED bulbs and lights in Conservation Areas..

More and more areas of Brighton and Hove are being infiltrated by LED lighting, irrespective of heritage buildings and conservation areas.
Historic lamp posts have also been disappearing, but even where they have been retained and converted for LED bulb use, the light looks completely inappropriate and unflattering with its harsh blue headachey hue which is more akin to a laser than a light.
The USP of Brighton and Hove needs to be retained and these unsympathetic bulbs and lights need to be banned.
