Purpose of committee
The Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care & Health is responsible for adult social services and joint delivery of a number of social care and health services with the Health Service (The Joint Commissioning Board oversees the joint arrangements.)
Note: The Adult Social Services functions, in relation to Learning Disability are the responsibility of the Cabinet Member for Housing.
