Q1 Performance Report Update

Minutes:

22.1    An officer gave a brief overview of the Performance report. It was stated that there were some areas of concern in regards to empty properties and the removal of bulk rubbish. It was stated that the initial page had 9/39 areas that were underperforming however there were several other indicators that highlighted improvement. It was further stated that performance had improved generally over the last quarter.

 

22.2    Councillor Wares stated noted the difficulty in disseminating all the data provided and suggested panel members take this away and provide questions at the next North Area Panel.

 

22.3    A resident noted that it wasn’t just Council tenants with untidy gardens, it was stated that tenants of HMOs and students were also a part of the problem.

 

22.4    An officer stated they were happy for members of the panel to bring questions to the next meeting. It was further stated that Field officers worked across Brighton and confirmed that improvement, as indicated in the report, was due to Field Officers and the Untidy Gardens Project.

 

22.5    AGREED – that the report be noted.
